On the one hand, you had this:

Protesters descend on Ground Zero for anti-mosque protest

On the other hand, you had this:

Egypt’s Muslims attend Coptic Christmas Mass, serving as “human shields”

Now consider the obvious:

On the one hand, the protesters near ‘Ground Zero’ were in no conceivable way endangered by The Cordoba Initiative’s proposed community center.  What were they standing up for?

On the other hand, the Egyptian Muslims who attended Coptic Christmas Mass went with the expressed purpose of endangering themselves.  They intended to show solidarity with their fellow Egyptian citizens; they clearly valued national solidarity above religious-based fear and divisiveness.

So, taking this obvious contrast into account, which country is the land of the free and the home of the brave? Which one is the home of so many loud-mouthed, overprivileged chickenshits who wouldn’t know what to do with freedom if it jumped up and bit them in the ass?
