A LEDE THAT WOULDN’T SURPRISE ME:
Citing record-breaking primary turnout by Democrats and the specter of facing African-American candidate Barack Obama in the November general election, Republican presidential hopeful John McCain has decided to hire former Chicago mayoral candidate Bernard Epton’s campaign manager.
Don’t think that because Democratic turnout is dwarfing Republican turnout in the primaries that the same will happen come November. Just because the corporate media are telling us that many Republican voters aren’t enthused with John McCain, it doesn’t mean that those voters can’t be whipped into a frenzy (and into the voting booth) by the prospect of having a nigger with a rag-head name in the Oval Office.
Think I’m too cynical? Wait.
